Barca need to know the opponnt. They needed muscle in the midfield but yet again barca always trying to be too clever. pedri and busqests did well but man they get bulled upfront and in the middle

The headline should've been analyzing Barcelona performance and not the game because clearly, they haven't mentioned anything about Bayern, about how the defence was rock solid, how Upamecano and Hernandez had a game to remember, how Mazraoui perfectly filled the right back position, and how Davies shut up Raphinha so much that he had to switch sides with Dembele and then he also kept Dembele quiet. A very poor analysis from ESPN for that.

Great game. Tight margins and goals made the difference. Great chances were created by both teams. Bayern took their chances, and Barca missed. I have watched Barca play since 2006, it's always a great watch. One thing I would like to mention is that Barca has always got goals from the strikers and wingers but I think the current team needs goals from the midfield as well. Pedri, Gavi, and De Jong are wonderful players with great passing range and dribbling skills but I think they need to add more goals into their game. If they do, they will be unstoppable. Mark my words.

The thing is, their are only a few other players in the world who would get the chances like Lewandowski. Thinking of the psd from the left , I think it was Dembele…. The first touch was incredible

Ansu left and Dembele right Robert striking next time. Barceloa is a puzzle team. The Dutch guys need to be played, Dejong starting 11. Let Dembele control the game, give him the freedom.

Goretzka CHANGED THE GAME. Screw Sabitzer. Goretzka NEEDS to play always. I know he has been in recovery, but he looked fit enough yesterday. No way Sabitzer should ever start over him

  7. Jose Gutierrez

Robert ended up with cold feet and at the end of the day he did everything he could to basically give Bayern Munich a chance to survive in all honesty the game should have been something like 5 goals for Barca 2 for Bayern Munich

Pedri missed 2 great chances also … Bayern after scoring were comfortable Barca looked lost after that horrendous defensive back 4 display
ask Liverpool about the score reflecting the game if you dont take your chances & and you lose 1-0 is no different to 4-0 .
Xavi got 3 players in at XMAS then he got another 8 players for this season
yeah they will score they scored last season with out the 8 players he got in… i find this comical watching his subs & selections as a Real Madrid supporter im loving it

I find it amazing that some are still shocked by a Barca defeat to Bayern….., it's like taking candy from a bully child!! Barca can come with slick passes and all, Bayern will still beat the lights out of them!!

I believe Kessie should have played over Gavi. Not mad about the defeat though. In as much as our players were not clinical, I think Xavi also made some tactical errors in hindsight. Not surprised. He's not an experienced coach. He'll definitely learn.
